The division’s annual reports are published by September 30 of each year. Historical reports contain information and data that were valid at that time, including the names of incumbent state officers.

Fire Violation Reports

The 2008 Florida Legislature changed the Division of Hotels and Restaurants’ fire inspection responsibility, effective July 1, 2008.  The law requires the division to notify the State Fire Marshal or local fire safety authorities of readily observable violations of rules adopted under Chapter 633, Florida Statutes. The division began sending weekly extracts of food and lodging fire violations to fire authorities throughout the state beginning on July 5, 2008.  Each extract includes fire violations data entered during the previous week.  If you would like to be added to the mailing list, please send us an e-mail at dhr.solutions@myfloridalicense.com.

Weekly Extracts – Current Year

The division began sending weekly extracts of food and lodging fire violations to fire authorities throughout the state starting on July 5, 2008.  Each extract includes fire violations data entered during the previous week.  The weekly reports below are in Microsoft Excel format.

Choose Column B (click on the B)

From the menu at the top, select the Data tab, the click Filter

In Column B, you will see that there is now a down arrow. Click on that.

Choose the county you want from the list (e.g., Escambia).

Now the list should have filtered out everything but that county for printing if there are any.

Type in the county name (e.g., ‘Escambia’) and press enter.

This should find the first page of the desired county violations.

Note the page numbers for this county (at the top of each page) and print only those page numbers.

Food and Lodging Statistical Reports

This data is updated at least monthly. The following statistical reports were generated from the department’s single licensing system. Complete lists of current licenses and inspections are available as downloadable extracts from our Public Records page.
