What is DBPR?
The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) is the state agency charged with licensing and regulating businesses and professionals in the state of Florida.
DBPR is responsible for ensuring that the more than 1.4 million licensees across more than 30 fields of industry provide safe, quality services to Florida’s millions of residents and visitors.
DBPR licenses professionals from cosmetologists, veterinarians, real estate agents and geologists, to talent agents, certified public accountants and contractors.
